It all starts with a chat.....

There is nothing I enjoy more than chatting to my couples about their flowers. Well, maybe delivering your bouquets and buttonholes to you in person, but you get the gist.
After making contact with me, I will be in touch to arrange a time for a chat. This can be in my garden workshop or over Zoom. I love to talk in person, as this gives me a chance to tap into all your ideas about what you both want for your big day. This is the foundation of your florals and so important to me and the design process. I then get to work on your proposal. This includes a moodboard of THE most gorgeous flowers that I could use along with individual prices and images for all that we have discussed.

If you love the proposal ( I sincerely hope that you do) and you would like to entrust Violets and Velvet with your florals. A 10% deposit is required to secure your date in our diary. 

And then we keep chatting.....

The next time we speak will not be the big day itself. It can be really useful to visit your venue to discuss flowers, especially if you are undecided on certain parts of your floral design. I am happy to join you at your venue before your wedding, but remember, you are welcome at the workshop, to chat over final details too. I am always on the other end of an email to answer any questions and will get in touch with you eight weeks before the wedding to finalise details.
